A pretty mountain village with a reputation for attracting the rich and famous, Megeve has a luxury resort status that attracts an international clientele. The Mont d’Arbois area is considered a prime location, due to its easy access to the skiing and proximity to the village centre. La Princesse is also in demand, slightly away from the life of the village but offering breathtaking views of the mountains. Jaillet is 10 minutes from the centre of Megeve, and is close to the Jaillet gondola and Prellet chairlift, and offers plenty of activities in winter and summer - including a summer sledge. Finally, Rochebrune is south of Megeve and is slightly higher in altitude, with the Rochebrune cable car and Grands Champs chairlift offering easy access to the slopes.
