Chalet NDB…
You’ll waste no time getting on the slopes when you stay at this bright, ski-in ski-out chalet for 12 near the village of Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe.
Chalet NDB is at the foot of the pistes, 700m from the Mont-Rond lift and less than 4km from Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe, on a quiet road that becomes a cross-country ski run in winter. The shuttle bus stops 2km away and runs to Crest-Voland, Flumet/Saint-Nicolas-la-Chapelle and Les Saisies/Hauteluce, giving you easy access to the 192km of pistes in the Espace Diamant.
As spring and summer bring warmer weather, nature wakes up and the region comes alive, particularly around the Flumet swimming lake, a firm favourite with families. Other activities include hiking, cycling, paragliding and a range of water sports.
In Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe, you'll find everything you need for your stay: a supermarket, a grocery shop, a butcher's shop, a bakery and a number of sports hire shops. For any other shopping needs, head to popular Megève, just 15km away. Chalet NDB is fully equipped for self-catering, but if you choose to eat out, there are several restaurants nearby.
After a busy day, you can relax on the chalet's comfortable sofa in front of the wood-burning stove, or on the large terrace with panoramic views of the mountains.
About the property…
Chalet NDB sleeps up to 12 people, with four bedrooms and two bathrooms spread over three floors.
As soon as you enter on the garden level, you'll be able to leave your outdoor clothes in a very functional ski room, equipped with a heated boot dryer. There’s a bunk room for six people, as well as a relaxation room with a television, table football and board games, which opens onto a shower room with double washbasin and separate toilet.
There are toilets on every floor of the chalet.
The entire upper floor is flooded with natural light thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows and doors which open onto a large terrace, equipped with an outdoor table and barbecue. A balcony runs the full length of the chalet, so you can soak up the sun whatever the time of day.
Inside, the open-plan living area features a large, comfortable sofa, a TV, and a wood-burning stove for cosy, winter evenings. The modern kitchen has all the appliances you'll need, including a large fridge, double oven, dishwasher and coffee station. The large dining table will bring your whole group together for meals. A utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer can be found at the rear of the kitchen.
There are three more bedrooms, all with TVs, on the top floor. Two of them have access to a balcony. These bedrooms share a large bathroom with a double washbasin, bath and separate shower.
There is parking outside the chalet for three cars outside the chalet.
About the area…
At the crossroads of the Mont-Blanc, Beaufortain and Aravis mountains, the resort of Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe is a paradise for lovers of nature, sports and culture. You'll enjoy discovering the Savoyard mountain traditions and the heritage of the Val d'Arly, including its beautiful Baroque churches and its rich culinary history. Many of the region's farms invite visitors to see how their delicious cheeses are made.
In the shadow of Mont Vorès, which rises to an altitude of 2,070m, the village of Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe is linked to the other Val d'Arly resorts (Flumet/Saint-Nicolas-la-Chapelle, Crest-Voland/Cohennoz and Praz-sur-Arly) and to the Les Saisies/Hauteluce ski area, giving access to the 192km of pistes and 84 lifts in the Espace Diamant. Free, regular shuttle buses run between the valley and the mountain hamlets, offering a wide range of skiing and snowboarding activities.
In summer, Lac de Flumet is a popular place for families to swim and relax, with picnic tables, a children's play area, a skatepark and paddle lessons. Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe is also a great starting point if you want to explore this beautiful region on foot or by bike, particularly along the popular Route des Grandes Alpes.
Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe is an idyllic, year-round destination, and is easily accessible from Lyon and Geneva airports.

The OVO Network Review
Chalet NDB is a four-bedroom, two-bathroom ski-in ski-out chalet on three floors. It is also right next door to one of Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe's ski slopes, and just 700m from the lift.
The ground floor has a garage, a ski room with a heated boot dryer, and a leisure room with a TV and table football. Six people can sleep in the neighbouring bunk room, which has a shower room with separate toilet.
The large, open-plan living area on the ground floor is particularly bright, thanks to French windows and large picture windows. It includes a lounge area, with sofa, television and wood-burning stove, and a modern kitchen.
With its double oven and large fridge, you'll enjoy preparing your meals, then enjoying them all together around the large dining table.
In good weather, enjoy a barbecue on the large terrace, while you take in the panoramic mountain views.
The three double bedrooms on the upper floor are small but comfortable, and all have televisions. Two of them also have access to a balcony.
They share a generous bathroom with both bath and shower.
Chalet NDB has toilets on each floor and a laundry room next to the kitchen, with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
The shuttle bus is 2km away, so you will probably need a car to get around. But the compensation is complete peace and quiet and direct access to the Alpine countryside.
