Hiking in the French Alps

For the best hikes in the French Alps, make sure you leave your chalet fully prepared: take sunscreen, some food, a map, a small first-aid kit, perhaps a rain jacket, and of course, your camera! Also, make sure your phone is fully charged so you can stay connected, and if possible, let any non-hikers in your group know where you'll be hiking and when you expect to be back.
