In 2018 the owner upgraded his already fantastic property with a fabulous indoor pool extension with a gym (elliptical bike, exercise bike, treadmill, aquabikes), TV room and rooftop terrace.

This contemporary chalet has everything you need for a great family holiday, and a new extension will bring even more!

An indoor pool with glass sides to make the most of the stunning views is to be added, along with a gym and a rooftop terrace above, making this the perfect place to combine mountain sports and relaxation!

The chalet sleeps 12 people in 6 bedrooms, there's a bathroom on each of the three floors (one features a hydrotherapy bath) and separate toilets.

The open plan living area is contemporary in style, with a large corner sofa and a woodburning stove and flat screen television. Prepare a meal in the well-equipped kitchen and enjoy it together around the dining table, which can be extended to accommodate everyone.

On a warm evening, the wide terrace is the perfect place to eat out of doors, in peaceful lush surroundings. The whole chalet, inside and out, is wired for sound, which is controlled from a central computer.

About the area ...

Lodge La Source is just outside the market town of Thônes and a 10-minute drive to Manigod/Croix Fry, a less crowded access point to the Aravis ski area with its 220km of snow-sure pistes to suit all abilities.

Although a bit of a drive from the pistes, roads are cleared regularly, so that in fact access can be quicker from here than from properties in villages closer to the pistes, with more challenging private driveways.

The resorts of Le Grand Bornand and La Clusaz are also easily accessible. There’s a great choice of cross-country ski, snow-shoe and walking trails. For the ultimate in winter fun, try dog-sledding, paragliding on skis, horse-drawn sleigh rides or ski joering - skiing while being towed by a horse!

Non-skiers are not forgotten in winter, with the indoor and outdoor swimming pools, ice skating rinks and cinemas, and sophisticated shopping in nearby Annecy and Geneva.

Lodge la Source is the perfect base for an activity-packed summer holiday. Golfers will be spoiled for choice, with three excellent golf courses within a 30-minute drive.

You’re just a 25-minute drive from Lake Annecy, where you can swim in its crystal clear waters, or try water sports such as wakeboarding, sailing, waterskiing, kayaking and diving.

Back in the mountains, thrill-seekers might like to try canyoning, white water rafting or climbing on a via ferrata circuit. Cyclists and mountain bikers have a huge choice of tracks, and you can always take the ski-lift up the mountain to make life easier. Keen cyclists can challenge themselves on some of the Tour de France’s most famous climbs, while the scenic [and flat!] 40km cycle path from Annecy to Ugine can be enjoyed by the whole family.

When it’s time for a rest, Lodge La Source’s large garden is the perfect place to catch some rays or enjoy a barbecue as the sun sets behind the mountains.
