The chalet's floor plan will show you the exact layout, so you know which rooms feature an en suite bathroom or an en suite shower / shower room and where the bedrooms are in relation to the communal areas of the chalet. The village of Manigod is just a short drive away from the Croix Fry/Merdassier ski area of the La Clusaz ski resort. Here, you can buy a ski lift pass for just this area, or for all of La Clusaz. You can also buy an Aravis lift pass which covers those ski resorts as well as Le Grand Bornand and St Jean de Sixt. In La Clusaz, you'll also find an outdoor heated swimming pool, a skating rink and cinema, so non-skiers will have plenty to do too.

In summer, mountain biking and hiking is popular. It's possible to spot Mont Blanc from some of the higher peaks, with views of the mountain and even l'Aguille du Midi! Chamonix is just an hour's drive from Manigod, making it perfect for a day trip any time of the year.
