Chalet Paravis ...
This beautiful chalet for nine guests is just minutes from the ski slopes in the popular Le Gotty area of La Clusaz and a short walk from the ski bus stop. And if you're visiting in the spring, summer or autumn, you'll be able to explore the varied hiking and biking trails in the area, as well as a wealth of activities in and around the busy village.
And after an exhilarating day, you can relax and unwind in the sauna back at Chalet Paravis.
Outside the ski season, there are fabulous walks or bike trails from your doorstep, and the centre of La Clusaz is a walk or cycle away. There you'll find a great selection of bars, restaurants and shops.
There is parking for several cars at the chalet.
About the property ...
This bright and modern chalet has plenty of space for nine guests, with accommodation arranged over three floors.
Head down to the lower ground floor from the main entrance, and you'll find three bedrooms: two double rooms with doors to the lower terrace and a single room with a desk. There's also a WC and a bathroom with a bath, a separate small shower, and a washbasin.
On the ground floor, the front door opens into the spacious hall with a WC. On your right steps lead down to the elegant and seating area, where two L-shaped sofas covered in cushions and throws are the perfect place to watch TV or enjoy a cosy conversation in front of the fire. There's also a home office area for anyone wishing to work remotely. Glass doors on two sides of this area fill the room with light and open on to the balcony - the owners have thoughtfully provided binoculars so that you can make the most of the stunning view.
The sleek and stylish kitchen has everything you need to cook up a delicious meal. There's also a breakfast bar, a cooking island and a walk-in pantry with plenty of fridge and freezer space. The dining table overlooks the living area and doors to the large upper terrace, a lovely place to eat when the weather permits.
This floor also has a sauna, a shower and a laundry room.
An elegant wooden, spiral staircase (challenging for very young children and seniors) leads to the first floor, which has access to the former garage - now a games and play room with a pool table, fitness equipment, a sofa and a television. There are also two bedrooms on this floor - a large double room with doors to a small balcony overlooking the terrace and another bedroom with two single beds. These rooms share a shower room with a washbasin and WC.
There's plenty of room to park up to four cars outside the chalet.
About the area ...
You'll have an great choice of winter and summer sports right on your doorstep when you stay at Chalet Paravis
The ski bus stops just 300m the chalet, making this a superb base for families and groups of friends who ski at different levels and want to visit different ski areas. There are nursery slopes, gentle blues and cross country trails on Beauregard, while more experienced skiers and boarders will find plenty of challenge at the popular La Balme area.
Even if you're not skiing, you can use the ski bus to visit cafes, bars, restaurants, and shops or try activities such as sledging, snow-shoe walking, dog-sledding and sleigh rides. There's also an ice rink in La Clusaz and a cinema which shows films in French and English.
If you're looking for the ultimate in relaxation, let your cares float away in the heated outdoor pool at La Clusaz, while the snow falls gently around you.
There's just as much to do at Chalet Paravis if you visit in the spring, summer and autumn, when the pistes are transformed into lush pastures criss-crossed by hiking and biking trails.
Take a hike into the Col des Aravis, or to the base of the via ferrata, and you may spot chamois or marmots. Enjoy the magnificent views across to the Mont Blanc chain from various points along the Col.
If you don't fancy the long climb, some parts of the ski lift system open across the summer to ferry you and your bike into the mountains of La Clusaz or Merdassier, then you can descend at your own pace. For a really special day out, you can hire donkeys from a farm on the Col des Aravis for a day's trekking, or try horse-riding, climbing and paragliding.
Just 35 minutes from Chalet Paravis, the medieval town of Annecy offers a great choice of shops, restaurants, galleries and museums, as well as swimming, boating, golf and watersports on the cleanest lake in Europe.
At the end of the day, relax over a meal in a local restaurant, or perhaps enjoy a barbecue and a glass of wine on the terrace of your chalet as the sun sinks behind the peaks.

The OVO Network Review
Chalet Paravis is a beautiful, split-level chalet for nine guests, with five bedrooms, two bathrooms and a sauna and shower.
Set just a 2.5km drive from the busy ski village of La Clusaz, it strikes a great balance between a quiet setting residential setting and easy access to great skiing, hiking, biking and the village shops and restaurants. And with a sauna, game room and stunning views from the balcomnies and terraces, you've got all the ingredients for a great holiday!
The accommodation is set over three floors, with three bedrooms and a bathroom on the lower ground floor and two bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor. This separation makes it a great choice for two families.
Each get their own sleeping areas but everyone can get together to cook, eat and hang out on the ground floor, in the cosy seating area, the stylish kitchen and around the dinner table.
There are also two terraces: the larger upper terrace, just off the kitchen, is the perfect place to fire up the barbecue and enjoy a meal as you soak up the view.
There's plenty of parking outside the chalet, but the garage has been converted into a useful games room, gym and bike store.
The split-level nature of Chalet Paravis makes the most of its elevated plot and great views, but unfortunately it also means it may not be suitable for those with limited mobility.

Guest reviews
“The accommodation was as described and even better”
It was great that there were plenty of towels and all the utensils for cooking. In the living room you could sit and relax on the very comfortable sofas and the tasteful furnishings. The table-tennis table was new and it was great fun to play on it. The different levels of the beautiful terraces spread out the outdoor area and everyone can find a quiet corner. Grace and Thom, the managers, were very friendly: the handover was relaxed and informative. We were able to contact them at any time and questions were answered quickly. All in all, a very nice holiday in a really recommendable accommodation.
“A cosy and welcoming accomodation”
The 3 levels provide a certain amount of privacy, even for 9 people. The interior is beautifully decorated and the two terraces are very pleasant. A little note for families with young children: the different levels involve a lot of stairs for the little ones. A very nice place.
“Comfortable and welcoming”
We were very happy of our stay! This is a nice property. It's well designed, with originality, and its terraces must be lovely to sunbathe on during summer time. We received a great welcome from Thom and Grace.
