Chalet Panoramic Lodge ...
The stunning ski-in, ski-out Chalet Panoramic Lodge is THE perfect choice for large groups who want to spend as much time as possible on the slopes. The location could not be better - it's right on the main ski slope heading back to the heart of La Clusaz village and the ice rink, with the cable car passing overhead!
This wonderful property spent many years as a catered chalet, but has now been totally transformed to welcome up to 20 self-catering guests. They will have plenty of space, with eight spacious en suite bedrooms, some of which are arranged as family suites.
As well as being right on the piste, so perfect for skiers, Chalet Panoramic Lodge is also just a short walk from the centre of La Clusaz, which has a great choice of shops and restaurants, as well as a weekly market where you can stock up on local specialities and regional produce. The ski bus stops at the bottom of the drive, which is convenient if some of the group want to head out for cross country skiing, or to explore other ski areas. If you don't want to drive, you'll be able to park up the car and manage without it.
The chalet offers fabulous views of the village and the piste in the winter - if you're not skiing yourself, just sit back in the fabulous seven-person hot tub complete with waterfall feature, on the terrace, and watch the action or the pink sunsets over La Balme. In the summer, the view is transformed into lush green pasture and a summer luge replaces the skiing!
About the property ...
You'll feel right at home as soon as you enter the warm and welcoming open-plan living area at Chalet Panoramic Lodge, and be simply blown away by the views of the village and mountains, whatever the weather or time of year, from the chalet or from the terrace.
On one side of the central fireplace is the light and airy lounge area, where you can curl up on the designer L-shaped sofas, piled with throws and cushions, to watch a film on the huge Smart TV, coupled with a sound bar for the ultimate sound and vision experience.
You'll enjoy the unique bespoke dining table and benches for your family gatherings - a real centrepiece where you can all get together for a meal at the end of the day. Later, relax with a book in the cosy "chill-out zone" or head for the bar with drinks fridge and ice maker - or, get together for a sing-song around the piano!
The sleek and elegant large modern kitchen has two dishwashers, a four-door fridge, two ovens, two large hobs to make cooking a pleasure. Artwork by a renowned local artist make this a really cool space. Doors lead out on to the terrace, where the village views are particularly impressive during the regular firework displays.
All of the eight en suite bedrooms at Chalet Panoramic Lodge have been designed with restored timber floors and French linen curtains or blinds to create a cosy place to retire to. Fluffy towels and bathrobes and L'Occitane products await you in the bathrooms.
On the ground floor, families will love the huge family suite that forms up two bedrooms in one - the first part has a double bed with a private shower and toilet whilst the other welcomes a double bed and bunk beds with its private bath and toilet. Two other rooms are available on this floor, a double and another with 2 single beds, both have a private shower room and toilets. There's also a TV and games room on this floor, as well as a laundry room, and indoor access to the ski room with a boot warmer.
There's also another family suite on the first floor, with a double bed and bunks, as well as an en suite shower room, and a separate toilet.
The other bedrooms are on the second floor - two of them can be arranged with kingsize or twin beds to suit your needs, and there's a further family room with a double bed and bunk beds. Two of the bedrooms have balconies so you can enjoy the crisp mountain air as soon as you step out of bed. There's also a separate toilet on this floor.
Extra cleaning and linen changes can be booked at an extra cost, as required. Ski hire and lift pass collection can also be arranged.
About the area ...
When you stay at Chalet Panoramic Lodge, you're perfectly placed to explore the whole of the La Clusaz and Le Grand Bornand ski areas.
The chalet is right in the middle of the piste, with the cable car passing overhead, and the ski bus stops at the end of the drive. Your Aravis ski pass gives access to 220km of pistes and 95 lifts, so you'll never be short of somewhere new to explore. There’s great terrain for cross-country skiers at the nearby Confins and Beauregard plateaus.
Non-skiers will have no time to be bored, with an ice-skating rink and cinema in La Clusaz, as well as sledging, snow-shoe walking, dog-sledding and sleigh rides. If you’re looking for the ultimate in relaxation, let your cares float away in the village’s heated outdoor pool, while the snow falls gently around you.
There's just as much going on in the summer, and Chalet Panoramic Lodge's perfect position at the entrance to La Clusaz means you won’t need a car to enjoy everything the mountains have to offer.
Hike into the Col des Aravis, or let the ski lift (telecabine) ferry you and your bike to the top, then come back down at your own pace. Other activities available in the area include horse-riding, climbing, via ferrata and paragliding. The mountains around La Clusaz are criss-crossed with tracks and paths, so there is always somewhere new to discover.
The medieval lakeside town of Annecy is just 30 minutes away by car, and is a great destination for a day out. The lake is said to be the cleanest in Europe and in the summer it’s a lovely place for water sports, cycling, swimming or you can just hire a boat and explore the lakeside beaches.
If you just want to relax, why not soak up the sun on the terrace, or sunbathe around the pool in the village? Later you can catch up with friends and family over a barbecue back at Chalet Panoramic Lodge, as the sun sets behind the mountains of La Balme.

Guest reviews
“Nice stay!”
Very large, well-equipped chalet very clean, at the foot of the slopes. Significant rental budget, but amply justified.
“Excellent stay”
We particularly appreciated the view and the cozy side of the chalet. We had a great stay.
“Excellent stay”
We particularly appreciated the ideal location on the slopes, the jacuzzi, the size of the spaces and the equipment.
A sauna would be welcome as well as snow removal around the jacuzzi.
Very pleasant and friendly stay!
