La Clusaz has a great choice of shops, bars and restaurants, as well as a supermarket. There is also a smaller supermarket, a boulangerie and a couple of bars and restaurants in Merdassier.

About the property...

Chalet Lodge Rodzina is a luxury, three-storey chalet for 14 (max 12 adults) with seven bedrooms and five bath or shower rooms.

The impressive living area occupies the whole of the first floor, with a bar area and doors to two heated balconies, where you can sip your apero as you admire the breathtaking views. Inside, two large sofas and chairs are arranged in front of the central fireplace, and there's a large dining table where you can all get together to enjoy your meals. Cooking is a pleasure in the fully-equipped kitchen, which has a very large fridge-freezer, a Miele double oven and two dishwashers, as well as a wall-mounted TV. There's also a breakfast bar where you can enjoy a quick snack before you head out for the day.

There's a ski room on the ground floor which also has a washing machine, dryer and an extra fridge. There's also a TV room where you can curl up on the sofa and watch a film. You'll also find five of the six bedrooms here, including three double rooms which have their own shower rooms and access to the balcony. One of these rooms also has a useful office area, for guests who would like to work remotely. There are two more double bedrooms, which share a shower room, and a separate WC.

The final bedroom is the family suite on the lower ground floor. It has a double room and a separate room with two bunk beds, as well as a bathroom, a desk area and a separate toilet.

Underfloor heating keeps the chalet cosy in the winter, and the bathrooms have heated walls.

Finally, you'll find the hot tub on the terrace, as well as sofas, chairs and a fire-it - it's the perfect place to sit and admire the panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

There's plenty of parking for several cars outside the chalet, as well as a double garage with a table tennis table and a charging point for electric vehicles.

About the area...

With the nearest ski lift just over 1km away, Chalet Lodge Rodzina is a great choice for skiers and boarders.

The ski bus stops nearby, linking La Clusaz with La Croix Fry, and is free with the Carte d'hôte and the Aravis ski pass. This ski pass will also give you access to 220km of pistes in Manigod, La Clusaz and Le Grand-Bornand, so you will never be short of a challenge.

Floodlights mean you can ski into the night in La Croix Fry, and the weekly torchlit descent into La Clusaz is unforgettable!

A wide selection of trails ensures cross-country skiers are spoilt for choice, while non-skiers can try the local ice rink, sledging run and public swimming pool in La Clusaz, or strap on some snowshoes and take to the mountain paths.

In the summer, Chalet Lodge Rodzina is the perfect base for an action-packed holiday.

Hike into the Col des Aravis, or let the ski lift ferry you and your bike into the mountains, so you can come back down at your own pace. Other local activities include horse-riding, climbing, via ferrata and paragliding – there is always something new to try in La Clusaz.

Just 30 minutes away, the medieval city of Annecy with its spectacular lake offers a great choice of shops, restaurants, galleries and museums, as well as swimming, boating and water sports in the cleanest lake in Europe.
