Built in the foothills of La Clusaz, Chalet Limanosa enjoys exceptional views of the village, forest and surrounding mountains. Surrounded by just a few scattered chalets, it enjoys a quiet location where you can sit on the terrace and watch the cable car pass above you.
Wood and stone enhance the warm and rustic decor of Chalet Limanosa, along with the neutral tones of the decor and the cosy wood-burning stove in the open-plan living room. Its flexible beds make it ideal for both family stays and working seminars.
After a busy day, you will be able to relax in the sauna and indoor swimming pool, which are shared with an adjoining property.
You will be located just a five-minute drive from La Clusaz, a family-friendly resort linked to the 220km of ski runs in the Aravis domaine.
The road to Chalet Limanosa also leads to the Col des Aravis, a popular destination for cyclists. There is no shortage of activities in the region, whatever the season, including paragliding, canyoning, climbing and rafting.
Chalet Limanosa can be booked with neighbouring Chalet Kintana to accommodate groups of up to 28 people.
About the property…
Chalet Limanosa is a five-storey property with five flexible bedrooms and wellness facilities, making it ideal for holidays with family or friends, as well as working trips.
The first floor is dedicated to the light-filled living area, which has a number of full-height windows, and doors which lead onto a wraparound terrace with wonderful views of the village and mountains. There’s a practical, well-equipped kitchen, a dining table, and a cosy lounge with sofas, armchairs and a wood-burning stove. A separate toilet completes this level.
There are four bedrooms on the second floor. All have large double beds which can be made into twin beds according to your needs. One of them also has a single bed on the mezzanine, a desk and a private bathroom with bath and toilet. Two further bedrooms have a TV and access to a private balcony, while the fourth bedroom has a walk-in shower room. A separate shower room and toilet can also be found on this floor.
The last bedroom in the attic is ideal for children. This large dormitory-style room for six has three large double beds, each of which can be converted into two single beds if you prefer. This room also has a TV, where the children can enjoy their own programmes.
The wellness area on the ground floor has an indoor swimming pool (3m x 4m) and a sauna with an en-suite shower, which are shared with the adjoining chalet. There are also two laundry rooms, both equipped with washing machines and tumble dryers, for the use of each chalet.
The large garage on the lower ground floor can accommodate up to six cars and has two charging points for electric vehicles, as well as ski and bicycle storage.
About the area…
Just an hour's drive from Geneva airport, La Clusaz is an ideal year-round destination.
The village (along with Le Grand-Bornand and Manigod) is part of the Aravis ski area, which boasts 220km of excellent pistes for all levels and 95 ski lifts. Cross-country skiers will find plenty of challenging terrain on the Confins and Beauregard plateaux.
None-skiers can make the most of the winter season with snowshoeing, tobogganing and sleigh rides, as well as the village’s ice rink, cinema and heated swimming pool.
In summer you will find no shortage of walks, from mountain trails to long hikes on the Plateau des Glières. If cycling is more your thing, the chalet overlooks the Tour de France route, which often passes through Manigod on the way to La Clusaz. Some lifts continue to operate in summer, and can take you and your bike to the top of the mountain bike trails, allowing you to come back down at your own pace.
Adrenalin-seekers can try their hand at paragliding, canyoning, climbing and rafting – just some of the many activities on offer in the surrounding area.
The beautiful medieval town of Annecy is a must-see in the region, and it’s just a 30-minute drive away. Its lake, considered to be the cleanest in Europe, is ideal for swimming, various water sports and sailing.

Chalet Limanosa is ideal for family holidays and business seminars, thanks to its five double rooms and large double beds that can be converted into single beds. Its quiet location and wellness facilities guarantee a relaxing stay, just a few minutes' drive from the resort of La Clusaz.
Four of the five rooms are on the second floor, while the last room, under the eaves, is a family/children’s room for six. Two rooms have a TV and access to a private balcony, while two others each have an en-suite bathroom.
There are two additional shower rooms on the ground and second floors, and separate toilets on two floors.
The living room on the first floor is bathed in natural light thanks to large doors and windows, and opens onto a panoramic terrace. A modern, functional kitchen and a dining table will make it a pleasure to cater for your group, and there’s a seating area with a wood-burning stove where you can relax after your meal.
The wooden décor and neutral tones throughout the chalet make it particularly cosy.
The lower ground floor is shared with the adjoining Chalet Kintana – if you are looking for more accommodation, why not book the two together for groups of up to 28?
