Chalet Kintana...
Situated in a peaceful location less than 1km from La Clusaz, Chalet Kintana offers stunning views of the village and mountains.
This recently-built 5-star Alpine chalet blends the traditional wood and stone of Savoyard architecture with the space and comfort of a Scandi-style decor. It even has a sauna and indoor swimming pool, shared with the adjoining chalet.
With flexible bedrooms, it's a great option both for families and working groups.
Just a five-minute drive away, the village of La Clusaz offers direct access to the 220km of slopes in the Aravis ski area, ideal for winter sports enthusiasts. The road to Chalet Kintana also leads to the Col des Aravis, a popular destination for cyclists. Whatever the time of year, the region offers a great choice of activities such as paragliding, canyoning, climbing and rafting.
Chalet Kintana is next door to Chalet Limanosa – larger groups of up to 28 people can book the two chalets together.
IMPORTANT: the chalet is ski-in/ski-out when weather conditions permit. It is located 80m from the blue slope of the Patinoire gondola lift and 150m from the green slope of the Champ Bleu ski lift. Using these slopes you can get to the Champ Giguet ski school meeting point in three minutes.
About the property…
Chalet Kintana is a four-storey chalet just minutes from La Clusaz. It can accommodate up to 13 people (including 10 adults) in five bedrooms.
The spa facilities on the ground floor include an indoor swimming pool (3m x 4m) and a sauna with shower, for shared use with the adjoining chalet. Each chalet has access to its own laundry room, equipped with a washing machine and a tumble dryer.
Also on the ground floor are three double bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and bath, and a separate toilet. One of these bedrooms has its own bathroom, with shower, toilet and double washbasin, while another has a desk for remote working.
Please note that all double beds in Chalet Kintana can be converted into twin beds, depending on the needs of your group.
Take the stairs to the first floor, where you'll find an open-plan kitchen, a large dining table, a living room, a double bedroom and a separate toilet. A long balcony, accessible from the bedroom, lounge and dining area, borders the property on two sides.
The bedroom on this floor has an en-suite shower room with a toilet. The living room includes a TV, wood-burning stove, sofa and comfortable armchairs, while the bright, modern kitchen is separated from the rest of the room by a long counter.
Finally, a bedroom for up to five people under the eaves has a TV, shower room and separate toilet.
The large garage can accommodate up to six cars and has two charging points for electric vehicles, as well as storage for skis and bicycles.
About the area…
Just an hour's drive from Geneva airport, La Clusaz is an ideal year-round destination.
The village (along with Le Grand-Bornand and Manigod) is part of the Aravis ski area, which boasts 220km of excellent pistes for all levels and 95 ski lifts. Cross-country skiers will find perfect terrain on the Confins and Beauregard plateaux.
Even those who don't want to ski can make the most of the season, with snowshoeing, tobogganing and sleigh rides. The ice rink, cinema and heated swimming pool complex round off your programme.
In summer there's no shortage of walks, from mountain trails to long hikes on the Plateau des Glières. If you prefer cycling, the chalet overlooks the Tour de France route, which often passes through Manigod on the way to La Clusaz. Some lifts continue to operate in summer, and can take you and your bike to the top of the mountain bike trails, so that you can come down at your own pace.
Adrenalin-seekers can try their hand at paragliding, canyoning, climbing or rafting – just some of the many activities on offer in the surrounding area.
The beautiful historic town of Annecy, just a 30-minute drive away, is a must-see. Its lake, considered to be the cleanest in Europe, is ideal for swimming, various water sports and sailing.

Chalet Kintana's flexible sleeping arrangements make it ideal for a family break or a business trip, with double beds that can be converted into single beds. Its quiet location close to La Clusaz's amenities and its wellness facilities ensure a relaxing stay for 13 guests, including 10 adults.
Three of the five bedrooms are on the ground floor, with another double room on the first floor and a larger room for five under the eaves. Only the latter has a television, but the ground-floor room has direct access to a large balcony.
Three of the rooms have their own private bath/shower room, and there are two extra shower rooms on the ground floor, as well as separate toilets on two floors.
The living area on the first floor has a modern, functional kitchen, a dining table for 10, and a living room with a wood-burning stove and television. There's also a large bar where you can enjoy a coffee, and a terrace with stunning views.
The ground floor shares space with the adjoining Chalet Limanosa. There is a small indoor swimming pool, a sauna with en-suite shower, and laundry facilities for each property, each equipped with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
Finally, the lower level has a large garage for up to six vehicles, with two charging points for electric cars, as well as a ski room and bicycle storage.
The three bedrooms on the ground floor get less light than the others, but they are nonetheless very cosy.
