In summer, it's a lovely walk to the lake at Confins, or along the river into La Clusaz.

About the property ...

With 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, there is plenty of room for 15 at Chalet Bleu Infini.

There's a garage on the ground floor for 4 cars, a bike racks and ski storage. There's also a boot room with heated rack and plenty of storage for helmets and bags etc, and a laundry room with a washing machine, dryer and sink. A lift connects all the floors of the chalet.

On the first floor you'll find the first living area - a home cinema separated, a games area and a seating area with cosy sofas around a television. Children will love the two bunk rooms, each with three custom-made bunk beds (90x200) and a large wardrobe. During the day, you can slide back the wall between the bedrooms, leaving a huge play space! There's a bathroom across the corridor, as well as a separate toilet, a shower and the sauna.

Also on this level, you'll find an underground corridor leading to the renovated "mazot", with two single beds (or one double), a shower and wc. On the upper floor of the mazot,  is a fully-equipped office with a stunning view over the mountains, a double desk, two monitors and a printer/scanner. The owner also plans to install air conditioning for summer 2024. It's the perfect space for guests who would like to work remotely from Chalet Bleu Infini, away from the distractions of the main property. It is accessible through a ladder-style staircase and trapdoor inside, and has another access from outside the property.

There are 4 more ensuite bedrooms on the second floor. The master suite has a bathroom with separate shower. One of the other bedrooms opens onto a private terrace. There are two separate toilets off the corridor.

The main living space is on the top floor, making the most of those spectacular piste views. The upper seating area is separated from the staircase by an open bookcase, and from the lower seating area by a stunning contemporary fireplace. With a huge sofa on three sides of the room, it's a cosy place catch up on your day. The lower seating area takes in the stunning views, as does the large dining table, where you can all eat together. Bi-fold doors lead on to a sheltered terrace where you can enjoy a drink before dinner.

The ultra-modern kitchen makes cooking a pleasure - there's a huge fridge/freezer, 2 dishwashers and 2 ovens. A wide glass door leads out to the rear of the chalet.

About the area ...

Bleu Infini is in a really great location, just a few minutes from La Clusaz and overlooking the popular La Balme ski field - a favourite with our visitors and French freeride world champion Candide Thovex.

The ski lift is a short drive away and parking is free, but if you’d rather not use the car, the ski bus stops at the end of the road, putting the whole of the Annecy ski resorts at your disposal. Your Aravis ski pass will give you access to more than 220km of perfect pistes and 95 lifts in the stations of La Clusaz, Le Grand Bornand and Manigod.

Cross-country skiers and snowshoe walkers will find great terrain at the nearby Lac des Confins and the Beauregard plateau.

If you fancy a break from the pistes, La Clusaz has an ice rink, heated indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a spa centre, and a cinema. If you’re looking for a challenge, try sledging, dog-sledding and sleigh rides, all within a few miles of your holiday home.

Bleu Infini is also the perfect base for the Défi Foly competition in April, when skiers end the season by seeing how far they can ski across the Lac des Confins!

There is no shortage of summer fun and adventure within a few minutes of Bleu Infini. There are plenty of gentle walks in the Lac des Confins area, where you will also find a tennis club, golf course, driving range, fishing and a riding centre.

Take the lift up into the mountains for some high-altitude hiking or biking, or try white-water rafting, canyoning, via ferrata and para-gliding in the La Clusaz area.

The crystal-clear waters of Lake Annecy are just 40 minutes drive away, making it a great place for a day out - you can swim and fish in the lake, windsurf or just hire a boat and explore the lakeside beaches.
