The property ...

This luxury Alpine lodge  is designed for several families or a group of friends who can holiday together in comfort.

Each of the bedrooms has its own elegant bathroom, as well as a TV. Most of them also have their own terrace or balcony - a great place for that early morning cuppa! There are two double bedrooms on the ground floor, along with a kitchen and living room, and five doubles on the first floor, as well as a twin room and a family room with a double and single bed.

The main living area is on the top floor, to make the most of the stunning views. The stylish well-equipped kitchen makes rustling up the evening meal a pleasure, but if you’d rather just relax, we can arrange for a chef to do all the work for you. While he’s working his magic, you can kick back in the spa, with jacuzzi, steam room or sauna, or let a masseuse ease away any aches and pains from the day’s exertions.

After dinner, there’s room for everyone to get together on the sofas in the comfortable living area, complete with well-stocked bar, or on one of the the three sunny terraces, to discuss another great day in La Clusaz, and plan an even better one tomorrow.

Slopes around La Clusaz are floodlit for night skiing - don’t miss the weekly torch-lit descent! There’s great terrain for cross-country skiers too.

In the summer The Authentic’s idyllic position, set in four acres of private land above the village of La Clusaz, means you can make your holiday as relaxing or as energetic as you like.

Hike into the Col des Aravis, or let the telecabine ferry you and your bike into the mountains, so you can come back down at your own pace. Other activities available in the area include horse-riding, climbing, via ferrata and paragliding.

With so much to see and do, at the end of the day you’ll have lots to talk about as you soak in the hot tub on the terrace, but if you fancy a night out, the excellent restaurants and bars of La Clusaz are just a short drive away.

The mountains around La Clusaz are criss-crossed with tracks and paths, so there is somewhere new to discover every day.

Just 30 minutes away by car is the medieval city of Annecy, set beside the cleanest lake in Europe. Here you can go swimming, paddle boarding, waterskiing or fishing, or just hire a pedalo and explore the peaceful lakeside beaches. The city also boasts several Michelin-starred restaurants and unique shops.

If you just want to relax, why not lie back in a sun lounger on any of the three sunny terraces, or admire the view from the hot tub. Later you can catch up with friends and family over an an al fresco meal or perhaps a game of petanque, as the sun sets behind the mountains.
