1. Via ferrata
A combination of climbing and hiking, this summer activity is a great option for families with older children. Via ferrata is a fun way to embrace the mountains when there’s no snow, so it’s perfect for your summer holiday!

2. Paragliding adventure
Get a totally different perspective of Les Carroz and its surrounding mountains from above! When paragliding, you’ll be able to take in the summer views whilst free floating past the mountain peaks with an experienced instructor.
Various packages are available, with special rates for groups – even children as young as seven can enjoy a tandem flight! We would advise booking early in your summer holiday so that you have time to reschedule if the weather isn’t good.

3. Speed Dragoz
Whether you’re visiting Les Carroz during winter or summer, a trip on the Speed Dragoz is always a great family-friendly option, especially if you’re looking for a less physically demanding activity. It takes just six minutes to get down the hill on this Alpine coaster at the foot of the Kedeuze gondola, which is open to children as young as four (accompanied by an adult). There are some tight turns, steep banks and forest runs to add to the fun; but if you’re riding tandem, one of you can use a VR headset which will transport you into the land of Dragoz monsters, or a Wild West bank robbery!
4. Canyoning
Families looking for adventure will find it by canyoning this summer in Les Carroz! This activity includes scrambling, climbing, jumping and swimming down mountain streams, rivers and waterfalls. An experienced mountain guide will ensure your safety at all times along your adventure. This thrilling experience is open to children over the age of 10, as long as they can swim and are not afraid of a 4 metre jump. It’s the perfect way to cool off and try a new water sport on a hot summer’s day!
5. Treetop adventures
