To make your life easier, many service providers now offer a home delivery service, which saves a lot of time and energy, especially when you are on holiday.

Here is our guide to the different home delivery services you can use in the Aravis region.

Picard

Many supermarkets will now deliver your groceries to your home in just a few clicks or a quick phone call. This is the case with the famous Picard chain, which offers a wide range of frozen products, both cooked and uncooked, in individual or family portions.

Picard delivers to most French towns and cities for a delivery charge of 5€ and a minimum order value of 20€.

It’s ideal after an active day on the slopes or walking in the mountains.

Sherpa

The Sherpa chain is another which offers a home delivery service in the Aravis. This business, which can only be found in the mountains, has launched an online ordering service. You will find all the daily products you need as well as many national brands and a selection of regional products.

All you have to do is contact your nearest shop by phone, email or directly when you place your order online. Your order will then be delivered to your accommodation at the agreed time.

Other major retailers also offer home delivery in the Aravis, such as Carrefour, Super U and Intermarché. However, you should check their websites to ensure that this service is available.

Delivery of fresh, local products in the Aravis

When you think of holidays in the mountains, one of the things that springs to mind is the delicious local food. Charcuterie, tartiflette or raclette, the Savoyard area is full of gastronomic specialities that you don’t want to miss.

However, after a busy day, it is not always easy to find the motivation to go out for dinner or to do some shopping.

But don’t worry – in the Aravis, you will find several shops which offer a home delivery service, giving you the chance to taste all these delicious dishes without having to leave your chalet!

Boulangerie La Manigodine

There’s no better way to start the day than with a breakfast of fresh bread, pastries and jam. The popular Manigodine bakery will deliver all of these delicacies directly to your chalet.

The bakery also offers pizzas to order, to be collected from the shop, from 5-8.30 pm on Friday to Sunday. Choose from about 10 different pizzas, including Margherita, Tartiflette or British (bacon and egg!), all made with local produce.

Do you fancy a platter of local charcuterie to go with your aperitif, perhaps followed by a cheese fondue, all washed down with craft beers and wines? You’ll find all of this and more in La Clusaz, where artisan caterer Jérémie runs his superb shop of local products, Les Pousse-Midi.

To order his produce for home delivery, you can order in the shop or online (contact@les-pousse-midi.com) or call Jérémie directly on 06 89 64 21 41 or 06 70 56 45 75.

If you’d like your delivery on Saturday at the latest, place your order on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday before noon.

Orders are shipped by Thursday at the latest, to avoid them sitting in the warehouse all weekend. Depending on the product, delivery will take place within 24, 48 or 72 hours. You will then have to arrange a time to receive your order, which can only be done in person.

This is a great way to arrange huge meals with friends or family at your chalet. And leave with a suitcase full of good quality local produce.

Boucherie Maison Boudet

When you arrive at your chalet, the last thing on your mind is cooking a big meal. Why not order from Maison Boudet, a butcher’s and delicatessen in Annecy and La Clusaz? Joachim will be happy to show you the best products in the region and deliver them directly to your chalet.

As well as the various butcher’s products that you can order, you will also find a catering menu offering a variety of dishes based on fresh and seasonal produce, and a weekly basket, so you won’t have to cook all week! Simply let him know how many you are catering for and Joachim will suggest a complete meal idea, from the aperitif to the dessert.

To order, contact the shop in La Clusaz on 04 50 02 45 67 or in Annecy on 04 50 27 63 06. Or order directly via their website.

After a day in the mountains, you can enjoy great home-cooked meals delivered frozen to your chalet by Huski.

The idea is simple: dishes are prepared by hand, just as you would do at home. They are then entrusted to the delivery staff who bring the food to you anywhere in the Alps.

Unlike other home delivery companies, here the food is delivered to you frozen. This way you can keep them for longer and enjoy them whenever you want.

With this system, you can also fill the freezer at your chalet for the whole week, for example by opting for their three or six-day menus.

Chicken and leek pie, lasagne, coq au vin, tartiflette, rabbit with mustard, roast camembert, beef bourguignon, dahl or chicken tikka… Huski offers a wide choice of gourmet and comforting dishes to suit all tastes and dietary requirements. The menu includes a range of gluten-free, vegetarian and dairy-free dishes too.

Huski can also send a chef to your accommodation, to take care of everything while you spend quality time with your family and friends.

Less time in the kitchen, more time to enjoy your holiday!
