4. Diots
Diots are traditional Savoyard sausages, which are normally cooked in white wine and onions to add to their rich flavour. You will usually find Diots served with polenta or crozets (little squares of pasta) or occasionally in a sandwich from a local market stall.
5. Génépi
Génépi is a traditional herbal liqueur served in many restaurants in ski resorts across France. Perfect as a souvenir, or as a digestif to round off a hearty meal at your local Alpine restaurant! With a strong flavour, to some it may be an acquired taste, but it’s a must try for your next ski holiday!
